Channing Tatum is having the best year of his career! The 32-year-old Magic Mike actor announced yesterday that he is undertaking a new superhero project, which he will star in and produce. Which superhero will Channing be portraying: Batman, Superman, Ironman, Thor?
None other than daredevil entertainer Evel Knievel!
The film, still untitled, will be based off of the book Life of Evel, a biography of Knievel from 2008. Knievel, known for his deranged stunts, broke 433 bones in his life. (Whoa!)
Tatum has been keeping quite busy this year, with back-to-back-TO-BACK blockbuster films: 21 Jump Street, Magic Mike, and The Vow, earning him a hefty salary.
He also has a few more films lined up for the next two years as well: G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Bitter Pill, and White House Down.
What do you guys think? Can Tatum pull it off?
